FRESNO, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants, host the Salt Lake Bees for a four-game series and homestand beginning Tuesday, June 21st at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno.The homestand kicks off Tuesday, June 21st with 2-For-Tuesday , presented by KMPH FOX 26. Wednesday, June 22nd is another World Champion Wednesday , presented by the Fresno Bee, continuing the Grizzlies' year-long celebration of the Giants' World Championship. As with every Wednesday this season, one lucky fan will win a trip for four to see the Giants play at AT&T Park and a free night's stay at the Donatello Hotel in San Francisco. Plus, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a special Giant oversized baseball card, featuring former Grizzly and member of the Giants World Championship team, two-time National League Cy Young Award Winner Tim Lincecum.
The game will also be a Wireless Wednesday , presented by Verizon Wireless. The first 2,000 fans at Chukchansi Park will receive a foam baseball and one lucky fan will win a brand new cell phone featuring 4G speed from Verizon Wireless.
The Grizzlies Community Fund will also donate tickets to Wednesday night's game to each District Office to be distributed to local non-profit and charity organizations. All non-profit organizations are encouraged to participate, and the District with the largest turnout will win the District Community Night Challenge . One lucky charity within the winning District will receive a $500 donation from the Grizzlies Community Fund.
