Choteau Summer Festival is a 20+ year tradition of the Choteau Jaycees. It is an open arts and crafts show with a variety of vendors with a musical fl air. The festival is held at Choteau's picturesque city park. This year's festival kicks off a variety of events and performances to celebrate our nation's day of independence. There will be live music throughout the day. Artists must be responsible for their own exhibits and provide their own method of display and tables. Tables are available to rent for $20 each table.
ALL SPACES ARE FILLED FOR THE 2010 CHOTEAU SUMMER FESTIVAL!!!!
Display setup will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, and ALL vendors must check in with the Jaycee organizer before setting up a space. Every space will be mapped out since we are sharing the park with the Soroptimists' carnival. In case of rain and/or wind, it would be wise to be prepared with some sort of protection for your art work. The show will be held in the Weatherbeater Building, south of the City Park if weather prevents us from having an outdoor show. There will be a concession stand at the park (or Weatherbeater) selling lunch, soft drinks, coffee, dough nuts, etc.
We would love to have you stay for the weekend, but motel accommodations and campgrounds fill up well in advance at this time of year. We strongly recommend that you make motel reservations now if you plan to stay. Call the Choteau Chamber of Commerce office at (406) 466-5316 for ticket information on our Fourth of July events (parade, rodeo, steak fry, fireworks).
Entry fees are $20 per registration postmarked by June 20, 2010; $25 thereafter. Please add $10 if you require a double space. (One space is about 10' x 8'.) Sorry, no refunds. We reserve the right to reject any vendor we consider unsuitable. Please make checks pay able to the Choteau Jaycees. No commission is charged.
